New Video Alert - Kiss Daniels - Good Time

G-Worldwide Entertainment act Kiss Daniel is not a musician who believes in half measures, and after tantalizing the earbuds of his fans with hits such as “WOJU”, “LAYE”, “RABA”, and more recently MOLUE alongside label-mate Sugarboy, he returns with this heavy afrobeats track “GOOD TIME”.

The artiste, who recently was crowned The Most Promising Act to Watch in Africa at the recently concluded AFRIMA AWARDS, enlists the services of Fiokee (the guitarist behind “Woju” and “Laye”) to add live guitars to this DJ Coublon production.

The track is heavy on percussion, and early reviews suggest that this is a masterpiece from the rave of the moment, Kiss Daniel, to round off a year where his consistent hard-work has seen him get more media mileage, awards, and nominations at this year’s HEADIES and NMVA AWARDS. Feel the video below!

Cassper Nyovest is "SA's Hottest MC" of 2015

Almost a month to the day that Cassper Nyovest rewrote history with his “Fill Up The Dome” concert, MTV Base (DStv channel 322), has revealed him as the laureate in “SA’s Hottest MC 2015”.
The heavily contested top five saw Nyovest push both rivals and friends to the back of the list, scoring top marks for impact, sales, buzz and other intangibles. Commended by the judges for his sound decision making skills and relentless hard work, there was little disagreement that Cassper deserved the top spot.

Hot on his heels is AKA, who the panel unanimously agreed deserved the second spot with his well thought-out music taking centre stage. His accomplishments outside the studio were arguably not as strong as Cassper’s. Style and lyrics were the two outstanding criteria that scored him the runner up spot.

2014’s number one MC, KO, took the third spot; his strong presence and contribution to the local hip hop scene was commended by the panel, but the extent of his impact in 2015 was interrogated.

Riky Rick scored the fourth spot after a hard-hitting 2015 with the release of his debut album “Family Values”, that has earned him multiple award nominations while selling over 20,000 copies.

OkMalumKoolKat took the number 5 slot with his hard-to-box rap style.  While his work, dedication and influence on SA Hip Hop culture throughout 2014/2015 has been louder than his fame, features with Riky Rick,Cassper Nyovest and WTF, and sheer consistency had the panel wide open.
