My Name is Ezinne




Ezinne Asinugo, affectionately known as “Zinny” has been dancing since the age of 11, and has been dancing to all kinds of genre with no formal training. Her career kicked off when she was handpicked to start the St Edwards C of E first dance team.

Her 4 years with the team grew her choreographic skills and perfected her personal dance style. At 18, Ezinne had taken St Edwards C of E school an extra-ordinary height in performance by winning local dance competition, 3 times consecutively, becoming the first student to study Dance at GCSE with an outstanding A* result and became most talked about dancers in the University of Brunel’s   African and Caribbean society. Since, Ezzine has maintained a focus in the art of dance and cheorography for the new and vibrant music genre, known as Afrobeat.

Afrobeat is a popular music genre from West Africa, and making Ezinne Asinugo an essential asset to have worked with the likes of D,banj, Tiwa Savage, Wizkid, Moelogo, Shiikane, Awilo Logomba, Dr Sid, Terry G, Inyanya, Lola Rae, Patorankin, Davido, Alexandra Burke, Lil Kim, and Vince Kidd.               
                                                                          
Zinny has had the honor of performing for millions on Britain’s Got Talent, World Music Award, and BET Experience. Her versatile and energetic dance style made her popular, clean and sharp execution, and her creative movement.

In 2013, Zinny competed alongside her crew, CEO Dancers on ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent, where the astounded audiences in their audition and semi-final performance landed them Best Dance Act of the Series. CEO Dancers go down in history as the first all-female African Dance to ever reach the Semi-Finals in the show.
