Oba Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi's emerged Ile Ife's 51st king after a keen competition for the throne. His profile wowed Ife natives, Nigeria and the world by storm when he was selected as the new Ooni to succeed Oba Okunade Sijuwade. Asides being young, he is a very principled king who though modern embraces the preservation of tradition and culture. Below are things you never knew about the new Ooni.

• His birth day and time  was predicted before he was born at 1P.M on the 17th of October, 1974
• He was left unattended by his mum for 11 days from birth
• The name, Enitan was given to him by his father and late mother
• The name, Adeyeye was given to him by his grandfather
• The ruling families of Ogunwusi and Sojiopa jointly named him Babatunde

Into the world of Nike Imoru; ZNation Cast Director.

Nike is a classically-trained, award-winning actress,with a stack of national and international acting credits ranging from BBC Radio 4 to Public Radio; from The Royal  National Theatre Studios in London, to The Getty Museum in LA; from her seminal one-woman performance of Medea in Delphi, Greece;  to her critically-acclaimed portrayal of Shakespeare’s most villainous male antagonist, Aaron the Moor, in Titus Andronicus (2012) for which she was awarded Outstanding Classical Actress, (Footlight Award, Seattle Times) Best Featured Actress (Critics Choice Award, Broadway World) and Excellence in Performance (Gypsy Rose Lee Award).  In academe she has taught hundreds of student-actors globally. She has collaborated and shared the stage with some of the most illustrious figures in theatre and performance history, including Nobel Laureate Wole Soyinka. She gained her PhD from the University of Warwick, UK and was overjoyed to have her doctoral thesis added to the British Museum Library in 2012. Nike is a member of Actors Equity Association, SAG-AFTRA and the Casting Society of America.

It's the season of giving! In a spontaneous move in the spirit of the yuletide season, former first lady of Lagos State and wife of Honourable minister of Power, works and housing , Abimbola Fashola  called on Don Jazzy of Mavin Records to team with her as she gave gifts to women on the streets of Lagos.  As the gifts were being given out, she pleaded with the recipients to pray for Nigeria.

Nathi Mankayi Blessed Crowd with Touching Performance at the BET Experience

The Eastern Cape boy born in uMthatha, today blessed the crowd with a touching performance at the BET Experience. Nathi is known for his meaningful, honest and heartfelt reality ballads. He started music and drawing in school and has lived for just this as he considers it a calling.

His debut album was Buyelekhaya, which was a double platinum. Today the crowd present at his performance sang along overwhelmingly to his heartfelt songs.
